“Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero.” – Marc Brown
To be around children as a photographer creates a quandary where you question how you can photographically capture those iridescent, ephemeral instances that string together like a pearl necklace of moments to create a child’s life. Within each child lives those imaginative twinkling bouts of inspiration, special friendships, and wonderment that as adults we can only try to recollect from our own youth or appreciate always slightly to the sideline. This project began as an exploration of childhood, but through the process became a documentary of the relationship between two young brothers.
