Project Steps
As a class we reviewed the anatomy of letters and the process & methodology of using typography, and the concept of typography as an art form and then students were introduced to the project. Students began the project by using the working doc to brainstorm their quote and object ideas.
Students then watched the project tutorial and downloaded the project template. Each student had to use the pen tool to outline their object and the type tools to add their quote. Students were also introduced to some advanced Illustrator processes. Each student then added their work to the Presentation Critique.
