Project Steps

The project began with a presentation and discussion of basic video shots and fundamental compositional elements. Students were given a chance to have a hands-on learning time of how to use the equipment before we watched the project tutorial. Students then broke into groups, received their packet of information which broke down exactly what they needed to find, and they storyboarded how and where they were going to shoot their scenes. After shooting, each group edited a video with a title added for each type of shot and then as a class we viewed and critiqued the final videos.
